Written for a very old friend of mine. What a tough life compared to mine; waiting tables, small acting parts and and lot of auditions (now a great physical therapist), doing whatever was necessary to help with family sickness and issues. I feel blessed to know this person. I also feel that I have not been the best friend possible and that the only reason we talk is because of this innate generosity -the kind I may not have the ability to reciprocate. Though "I'm just a journalist" was written down, I know I'm responsible for much more.
